IMAGE WIDGET PROBLEM

Whenever I try to install a new image widget, the URL disappears every time I try to save. It takes the information for the title but nothing else. I have tried different URL’s but none are working. I have also lost some of my images. Suggestions please. Thank you!

Hi Carolyn,
I was able to successfully install an image temporarily in your sidebar. The image was from your Media Library. I attempted previously to use an image found elsewhere, but the URL was stripped like you mention. Is the image you’re attempting to use an outside image or one you have already uploaded to your Media Library? If it’s the latter, you should be able to upload it to your sidebar following the instructions here:

If it’s the former, can you try to first upload it to your Media Library and then trying the steps above?

It works when image comes from media library, so problem solved.
