Image widget size problem

I have added my photo to my homepage and some people are telling me its stretched. None of my other photos are stretched- what size is my image widget supposed to be? I am on fruit shake. help!

My photo- the very first one. It doesn’t look stretched to me but I have had comments by others that it is stretched. They claim none of my other photos are stretched except this one?

I bet those visitors are using Explorer…
The image you have uploaded is a lot wider (500px) and it’s automatically downsized by the theme to fit in your sidebar, but Explorer won’t necessarily listen. First open the widget, type the right width and height manually (should be 221×185), click Save. This will change the sourcecode of the widget and hopefully Explorer will understand. If not, you’ll need to make a copy of your image, downsize it in an image editing application to the dimensions I mentioned above, and upload that copy.
In general it’s best practice to use images downsized to a resolution of 72 (which is what all browsers display) and to the desired dimensions instead of letting WP do the downsizing. This way you avoid problems with bad browsers, and you get better quality too – see here:
