Image widgets have unwanted borders
-
I’ve uploaded image widgets to my sidebar. When I add the images as direct htmls (with the image stored elsewhere), they look fine but I can’t figure out to center them in the side bar.
I’ve switched to saving the image files in my own media directory and adding the links manually. This is preferable, but now the images have borders around them and I’d rather they not. Can I change this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I believe the fix you find in this post may work for you > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/12/24/unwanted-features-in-mistylook/ It’s at least worth a try, no?

Thank you! I’ve started to look into it; might need to do more work. It isn’t obvious to me where to edit the html for an image. I’m not sure it gives me access to that?

No, there’s no access to the image code when you use an Image widget. You need to use Text widgets instead.
