image will not download

  trying to download an image ( not a picture ) looks like a drawing , its a bmp file . it will not alter to anything else , harry

  We can’t upload files with the .bmp extension. BMP files are uncompressed, hence they are very large. You can use an online image optimization and resizing program to compress that image and rename it to an allowed extension. Here are the allowed extensions for images – .gif .png .jpg .jpeg

  Here is on online image resizer that may be able to do the job http://www.picresize.com/
