Image with Button theme

Hi there. I have a problem with pictures on the Button theme. I cannot insert photos with the stylish border. : when I create a page and insert a picture in the text, I can see it but it is classical with no special design, that should appear with the theme; if I insert it as a featured image, I do not see it at all, although I selected every option possible to show the pictures on the pages and articles. Can someone help me with that please ?
