  When I add an image to my blog, a block beside is labeled “Content.” However, I cannot figure out how to add my copy (content) to that block.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Thanks for the link! I see that you may have already typed the following on the content side of the Media & Text block: This is my content. It's rather large due to the font setting on the right. – so it seems you were able to add the text there? What happens if you highlight those words and start typing?
