Image with link – Brompton

https://catstuffdotshop.wordpress.com/ – The images at the bottom of a page.
How can I put a link to a page for the product? I want the viewer to be able to click on the individual picture and have it take them to a product page, not a bigger picture.
Thanks

Hi Lorraine,
It looks like you found a way to do this already, but the simplest way is to use the Coblocks Masonry Gallery block. Regular gallery blocks don’t allow you to link individual images in the gallery, and will always open the full size image in the carousel when clicked.s

Hi,
I did figure it out. Where do I find the Coblocks Masonry Gallery block? It sounds interesting. Thanks for your response.

Envira Gallery, which apparently contains Masonry Gallery, costs money. It looks like a nice plugin. Something I can invest in later perhaps. For now I think I will use the inline picture and then attach a link to it. Thanks for your help.

So I discovered that Envira Gallery has a lite version which is free. So I downloaded it, but wordpress.com wanted me to have a business type account in order to install it. Sigh….. So then I discovered wordpress.org who will indeed install Envira Gallery Lite. So now after some research and a lot of work I have it is working and it looks nice. Now for that second page…

That is correct. Using plugins on WordPress.com does require a business plan to create the proper infrastructure.
