Image won’t show up

  I tried to put in an image link, and all I have to show on my blogroll for it is a red x. How do I fix this?

  The red X means it’s trying to display the image but can’t find it. What is the URL of the image? It has to be up in webspace, not just on your computer, for it to display.

  I checked the image properties and this is what it shows for the address:

  http://magnolialane.wordpress.com/<ahref=http://www.knittingdaily.com><imgstyle=border:none;

  I viewed source on the blog to see what the entire link looks like. It’s really messed up:

  <a href="&lt;ahref=http://www.knittingdaily.com&gt;&lt;imgstyle=border:none;"><img src="&lt;ahref=http://www.knittingdaily.com&gt;&lt;imgstyle=border:none;" alt="Knitting Daily" /></a>

  Definitely go back into your Blogroll and check all of the properties. The image should simply be an address and nothing more.

  You dont have in there code an image, is only a link to http://www.knittingdaily.com
  If you want to publish a foto he need to finished with .jpg .gif or somethinf files. You cand upload an foto to a photohost, i use tinypic.com and from there he gives you the link of foto.
