images

  • I haven’t managed to add images/photos to my posts

The first step is to find the post (or create a new one) that you wish to add images to. Go to My Sites (upper left corner of the screen) then find Posts on the left and click on that. You’ll find a full list of all of your posts on this site. Click on the post that you wish to edit.

Now, you’re in the post editor. On the post editor menu, to the far left, there will be a + inside a circle, if you click on that there will be a drop down menu, and from there, you’ll select the + Add Media option. Here’s a step-by-step <a href=”https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/adding-images-to-posts-or-
    pages/”>guide to help.

You may wish to use featured images in your posts. Let me know if you have questions about this.

This guide has more information about using images.

When in process of doing the latter i noticed that many Gravatar images appeared…those belonging to other people’s blogs such as
    the questioningaspie”‘s ?,( question mark)
    How did they get there?

I’m not quite sure about this. Can you go to the page that you are describing and then copy + paste the URL here for me? That will help me get a better understanding of your question.

After I hit Publish after previewing my post and I view it on my blog am I supposed to ” share” it via hitting the WordPress icon
    that sits alongside Twitter etc?

You can establish a connection via the Publicize Tool that will automatically share your new posts to your Twitter feed (or other social media platforms).

Another option is to add social media sharing buttons that would allow your visitors to share your post to their social media platforms.
