I just redsigned my site, and am being told many of the images are showing upside down however to me they show upright. How can I fix this, or check to see which ones are showing wrong?

  • Hi there,

Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.

Please post in the self-hosted WordPress forums instead for help:

    https://wordpress.org/support/

For what it’s worth, though, I do see the upside down images, for example, on https://hetravelsshetravels.com/denver-denver-colorado-denvers/ and https://hetravelsshetravels.com/road-trippin-the-midwest-in-5-days-cleveland/. I have no idea what could be causing it, though.

It does appear to be browser-specific – I first checked your site in Firefox, and saw the upside down images there, but if I look at it in Chrome the images all show right way up. I hope that helps.

Thank you for checking, I do use wordpress.com 100% not wordpress.org….never have
I host through blue host on wordpress.com

  • I host through blue host on wordpress.com

Hosting through Bluehost and being on WordPress.com are mutually exclusive.

You are able to manage your site via your WordPress.com account because you have the site connected to us via the Jetpack plugin. But your site is not hosted on our servers, it’s hosted on Bluehost’s. And it’s built with the open source WordPress software, not the modified version of that software we use on WordPress.com.

So we have no actual control over how your site works, and no access to the admin area to check what might be causing this problem.
