  Is there a setting to disallow visitors from copying my photographs from my blog? I saw I have to pay to download a plugin to put a watermark on my pictures so what can i do to keep my property mine?

  Anything you post on the Interweb can be copied, even if it is only by someone taking a screenshot. You could watermark your images before you upload them.
