  How do I border an image like I used to be able to do?

  Hi there,

  I’m not sure what you’re referring to. Can you explain in more detail, and if there’s already an image like this on your site, can you give a link to the post/page where it appears?

  Whether or not a border appears around images on a site depends on the theme – we’ve never offered a setting to have a border added to images.

  Kokkieh, ttriolo is correct. In the past I could resize an image (still possible but hard to find), add a border to it, specify the width and color of the border, and also specify margins on any or all of the four sides. Sometime in the last year, these options disappeared. I don’t know if it was theme-dependent or not, but for some years through several theme changes it was always available.

  Hm, you are correct, that’s no longer an option.

  We are constantly working to improve the new editor, so that’s definitely something we’d consider.

  I was afraid of that. I don’t use those options often, but when I need them to adjust a layout, there’s no substitute. It’s one thing to introduce an editor nobody wanted. It’s quite another to introduce an editor that not only obscures but completely drops worthwhile features from the previous editor.
