Images and blogging
-
I am new to this website, so sorry for the possible ignorant questions to follow.
I am setting up a wordpress account as a study abroad advisor for my students studying abroad. I have already figured out to make them contributors so that I can review their posts before allowing it to be published, but when running a test drive today, I could not figure out how to allow students to post pictures. I followed the instructions in the Support for uploading images, but the icons it told me to press was never present on the student side of things.
Can someone steer me in the right direction in allowing my students to add pictures to their postings? Do they need to have pictures uploaded to the media library or can pictures come straight from their hard drive? If they need to come from the media library, how can they upload the files?
Thanks!!

The role you choose to give users of your blog allows them to do specific things and not others. See http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/
Contributors CANNOT upload images but Authors, Editors, Admins can. -
