    1. The image I used for http://sincerelylaura.com/2013/02/26/letter-to-my-ava-3-months-old/
looks good but on the home page the image is huge!!! How do I change that? and why did that happen when it’s the same image? Frustrating….

    2. Despite setting up settings to say “show all text” my blog posts only show a summary and then have a link to continue reading. This did not happpen the first post I did, but they have since. How do I change this setting?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

I took a look at your site, and the issue with the image for your “letter to my Ava” post is that on the home page, it is displaying the Featured Image rather than the image which you have set at the top of your actual post and that Featured Image is set to be at full size, rather than a smaller version. You can change the featured image by editing your post, clicking on the Featured Image again (in the lower right) and then navigating in your Media Library to the image you’d like. Make sure you change the size to medium or even small and it should look great!

As far as why your site is showing the snippets instead of the full text of each post, that is actually a function of your theme. The theme is designed to display just post samples and then provide a link to the full post (though it appears that any post without a featured image it will display the full post).

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you! I appreciate it. I swear I’m not an idiot but I couldn’t figure that out. Regarding showing the whole post, if I purchase Custom Design, could I change that?
Also, is there a way to change the font size or is that the theme as well?
    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Of course you’re not an idiot at all! There’s no reason you would know that! :)

And to answer your question, the change to the way in which the whole post is displayed likely could not be changed via CSS, however (and you can take my opinion for what it’s worth), I do not mind that style. As long as you write an interesting few first lines, I don’t have a problem clicking on a “Continue Reading” link.

    But that’s just me!

As for your other question, the Custom Design add-on does indeed allow you to change your font size as well as the font style. So you can go crazy with those! You can “test drive” what those will look like by logging in to your account’s Dashboard and then going to Appearance >> Custom Design >> Font tab and playing around with the various fonts and sizes. You can’t save them until or unless you buy the add-on, but you can at least see what it will look like!

Ok, good. I appreciate the opinion because I assumed it was just annoying to have to click again. Now that first line has to be really good!

I appreciate the step by step to try the font.
Thanks so much for your feedback!

    Not a problem!

I hope you have a great day!
