Images and Media uploaded to Media Folder still show up

    There are images that continue to show up in searches on the site, even when the images/media have been ‘deleted’.

    Specifically, if ‘Code of Conduct’ is searched in the sites search bar, an older pdf is selected instead of the newer file uploaded.
    I have gone into the Media file on my WordPress page and have since deleted that image but when I search using those key words, the old image continues to appear.

    If there is anything I can do to remedy this issue, any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hey there, can you clarify which website you’re struggling with?

    Also, these forums are for the sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com, vs. sites using WordPress code with another host. If you’re not sure about your site, send a link, and we can point you in the right direction.

    If it is definitely hosted somewhere else, we’d recommend contacting support for your search plugin first, if you have one. Try clearing your site cache too, if you have that.
