Images and slideshows
-
Hello,
andrewkelleysimons.com/onesheet/
I am trying to get a separate image loaded on to the same page as an inserted gallery. Everytime I insert the additional picture, it also automatically gets put in the gallery and the slideshow. I then remove the pic form the page’s gallery (but do not take down the inserted picture), and it gets removed from the page entirely. All that is left is the ? box.
How can I get the pic on the page, but not in the slideshow? Here is the page:

THANKS!

WordPress.com slideshow feature currently only supports displaying all images attached to the post.

If you need that option, you may want to look into using external services such as Slide, RockYou and SlideShare.

I haven’t yet tested this, but if the slideshow behaves like the Gallery function, the following should work.
First delete from the Media Library the photo you don’t want to appear in the slideshow on that page.
Then upload the photo again, but this time in a different, published post or page *that doesn’t have a gallery or slideshow in it*. You do not need to insert the photo in that post.
Then go back to the page/post where you want to insert the single image and insert it from the Media Library using “Insert Image” where you want it and save your page/post.
