images appear as a grey out box on home page

  Hi, I am relatively new to wordpress and am having trouble viewing my images after they have been published – they appear as a greyed out box until the box is clicked on. This is happening on Safari, Crome and my mobile devices. Is there anything I can do about this? The images are all optimised for the web. Help much appreciated.

  i m having same issue on mobile and tablet. featured images in the slider look blur and grey and the header text out of place
