Images appearing as links

  Hello,

  I’m trying to set up a portfolio of work. All was fine, and images were uploading but some images are uploading as a link. Is this because they are too large? If so, what can I do?

  Are the images appearing as links uploaded onto WordPress.COM servers and appearing in your Media Library?
