Images appearing fuzzy when published.
-
Hello,
My blog uses the ‘Sight’ theme, and I have recently noticed a big problem with the images embedded in my posts. Despite being 640px (often at 300dpi, sometimes 100dpi) and displaying nice and crisply both in the media library and the post editor, they are really fuzzy in the body of the blog post. To the best of my knowledge, the display settings I’ve chosen when embedding photos is full size, and the theme allows for 640px wide images.
Please can you advise if I’m missing any crucial settings, as I really need my pictures to display properly. This is the latest post that I have noticed isn’t displaying correctly on my laptop (despite me also using the laptop to edit and it looking fine).

Hello!
If you go here: blackcurrantphotography.wordpress.com/wp-admin then click ‘Settings’ at the bottom of the menu, then ‘Media’, what values do you see under ‘Image sizes’? Your images could be getting resized when you upload.
The other thing I would try is uploading larger images, but at 72dpi to see if that clears it up.
I hope that helps.
