images are being cropped instead of resizing in aspect ratio

  Hello,
  Every time I add a header image to a post with the size of 1030 x 438, WordPress generates different size images. some of them within aspect ratio, others are just cropped so you don’t even see the full image making the website look very poor in quality.

  Is there a way to assure that WordPress will always resize using the aspect ratio?
