Images are being resized
-
Hi. When I upload images, I nearly always make them large ones. When you click on them in one of my posts (my theme uses a rather narrow column), the result is usually a lot bigger than the version embedded in the post.
Now, suddenly, the result is a lot smaller! The user does not get the full-size image. With certain artworks in particular, this is a serious degradation of the blog. Any reason? What is the solution?
Thanks.

Whenever you post a support topic, it helps us quite a lot if you include a direct link to a post or page where you see this problem.
In general, it also depends on the browser being used. When I click on the first image in this post using Chrome, for example, the browser (NOT WPcom) automatically resizes the image to fit the browser window. If I want to see it larger, then I have to click on it to bring it to full size.

Thanks. I understand your point — but that was not it. Chrome was not resizing to to fit the browser window. It was reducing the image to way below window size. No amount of clicking would change it. Hence my question.
In fact, it WAS a browser issue. Rather strangely, my main blog window could be zoomed to normal, but an image opening in a new tab would show neither as normal nor as any other setting operating in the main window, but would remember the setting on the last new tab I opened (which in this case was a reduced view).
Counterintuitive. But problem solved. This is with Chrome on a Mac.
