Images are distorted on my blog

  The images on my blog are distored with vertical bars. They used to show up fine as HD 1920×1080 images but recently they have all been distorted and cropped to a smaller than hd res. I can’t upload anything as this affects all images I upload including jpgs. I normally upload PNG’s
