Images arent showing

  Hi! I’m working on my website, and on the home page, I wanted to put some articles that I have written. I put pictures in a gallery, and they arent showing up when I preview my site. Do you know why?

  Hi there,

  From what I can see, you have added several images directly into the Query Loop Block on your homepage template, but this is not necessary… I think the block does not know how to display the content you added since images are not added to blog posts in this way.

  Instead, you can edit each post (individually), and in the post settings, you will want to set what is called a “featured image,” which will become the thumbnail for that post: https://wordpress.com/support/featured-images/.

  Then the query loop block can be set to display these featured images automatically instead of manually adding them to the template as you have done.

  If you remove the gallery from your homepage template and instead set featured images for each of your posts, do they appear on the homepage?
