My images are not showing in the blog, I only get a box with a question mark in it. I have read that I can change some settings in the wp-content folder but I cannot find it. This is a new problem I believe. I have a free plan. I would really like to get this fixed as I have put a lot of time and effort into this to not have the images come through. Thanks for your help!!

The (rather large filesize) images of your most recent post show. Older images don’t. Have you perhaps “tidied up” your Media Library and deleted images there because if so they will also be deleted from the posts they were associated with.
