Images cut off at the side

    Hi,

I am having an issue with the images on my blog posts – landscape ones are too wide and then are cut off when I publish the post.

I thought I was being smart by using the URL from my Google drive to display the images – I edit the HTML code for the src of the images and it generally works except for this issue.

For an example see this page:

    http://ascottishworldofgolf.com/2015/07/13/dougalston-golf-course/

and scroll down to the last image on the page – there is a dovecot on the RHS of the image which is cropped out on the WordPress post.

I would prefer to use the URLs of the images rather than uploading to wordpress.com as I already have a huge Google Drive and don’t really want to start paying for WordPress storage space.

Any suggestions? I am still relatively inexperienced with WordPress but am quite happy to go into the html if that is the best way.
