Images disappear from my blog

    On my blog some pictures disappear after a while. How come?
    Do you have any suggestions how I can avid that in the future?

    Do you upload the images and store them in your media library? Do you sometimes later remove them from the media library, thinking that they will remain in the posts or pages where you’ve embedded them or used them in galleries?

    Are they hosted elsewhere and displayed with shortcode? Copied and pasted in?

    Dear Support:

    Please help my issue and all my images of my blog was working perfectly and now all images of my staff page, picture gallery are not working at all.

    I had checked with under view tool, showed images, and checked and cleared caches so on. Nothing has been helped issue. I also tried 6 different laptops and there was a reason i could not think about it.

    If what I post below is not helpful, please provide the posts the images are embedded in and for the images themselves in the form of an active link starting with http://

    1. Have you used all your free media storage space?

    2. Where are the missing images like that one hosted?

    (a) Are they hosted on an image hosting service like Flickr or photobucket? Are they hosted at Facebook or somewhere else online?

    (b) Are they hosted on WordPress.COM servers ie. did you upload them into your Media Library?

    (c) Did you delete them from the Media Library? If you do that then they cannot be displayed and you have to upload them again. Images that have been deleted from your Media Library become 404 page not found. That is because they are no longer on the servers so they cannot be displayed in your posts.
