images disappear when in actual blog post

I’ve been blogging for years now and I’ve come across some weird stuff before, but I’ve never seen this.
I just did a blog post and when you read the post from the blog’s main url homepage, all of the images within the post show up just fine. But, when I click on the blog post’s url to show just that post, two of the images on the right disappear and show just the image name. I use firefox and even clicking “view image” or “show image” do nothing to reveal the two images in question.
The weirdest thing is that a third image on the right hand side of the post (and all of the images on the left) show up no problem no matter whether I’m viewing the post from the post’s url or the blog’s main home page.
These two images that are disappearing were uploaded by me and are hosted here on wordpress so it’s not an issue of an image link being broken. Also, there are other images that were uploaded by be in this same blog post and they’re showing just fine.
