images disappeared from blog

  I’ve imported some content from a previous blog. Everything went well and I could see the text and images. Suddenly, this week, I can only see the text from those imported posts, the images have disappeared! What can I do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  You imported the site from blog.com, correct? It appears that when you imported your content, the images were either not pulled in from blog.com’s servers, or the links for the images were not updated in your posts. Are you missing the images from the media library as well?

  If they’re in the media library, you’ll need to add them back to the posts manually. If they’re not in the media library, then there is no way to get those images back, as blog.com is no longer online so there is no way to access their servers any more to get those images.

  Had we caught this while blog.com was still online we might have been able to do something, but that’s not possible any more.

  Yes, the images are missing from media library! That’s why I couldn’t relink them…
  Ok, one day I’ll upload the images again…
