Images disappearing and enormous amount of images in database

    Hi,
    please help with this issue. I just downloaded folder ‘uploads’ and there are 3650 files, but in the Media Library there are from 276 images in english to 15.000 images in croatian language. I’m using WMPL.
    I tried to delete them but it is mission imposible. And I’m not confident it will solve the problem. Everything was fine. I’m not sure when. Maybe a month ago. And from some reason this happend.
    And what also bothers me is that some images disappeared from the server. It can be seen here: https://medikadent.com/all-on-four/?lang=it
    When I deactivate WMPL media translations there are 20.000 images. So there are some translations. I was suspicious about some WMPL problem but I can’t confirm it. I tried to deactivate all plugins but issue remains.
    I tried to repair database with phpMyAdmin and everything is ok.

    P.S. I just listed images and there are about 900 of single image duplicates, then maybe 1000 blank thumbnails (missing images). And so on… If that helps.
