Please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here (or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky “8 Things to Know“). We cannot help you without that.

Ok, i thought it was enough that you had to choose hat Blog it concerned when posting the post. Guess other members like you can’t see that, strange. Sorry about that.
Ok, my blog is http://lifethroughacameralens.wordpress.com/
Here the image i attached to the Blog entry, shows up but not in the actual entry itself. Weird.

1. Only staff has direct access to your blog. We volunteers need the link. Personally, I always check to see if the nick is also the blog name, but many blogs aren’t so, we are not obliged to do that, some of the volunteers refuse to do it, you don’t help us help you faster this way, and it’s not safe anyway (because sometimes we give a reply only to be greeted with “oh not that blog, the other one!).
2. What do you mean “attached to the Blog entry”? What exactly did you do? I checked the source code of your post, and there’s no trace of an attempted image insertion.

Well well well , i got some problem related with not exactly image but serier of image product. I have made many sounslide in my account in go2skyalbum website. or say i have in my computer such many sounld slides file mainly in .swf format.
The more important is i need to upload it in my blog.
How to do that? I guess there must be some code or URL putting method. Pls can anybody help me by giving example. I am a media student and it’s a part of my study and assignment. I will fail if somebody fail to help.
I am waiting now plz -
On another note, in my media section, it does say that that file/image is attached to that blog entry. Still it does not show up in the actual entry unless you click on the “view” link in the media section. Then it takes you to the before mentioned URL – http://lifethroughacameralens.wordpress.com/2009/01/24/hello-world/stockholm-new-years-2008-10/ and the image is there.

@lifethroughacameralens: Used “Add an image”? Doesn’t look like it. Here’s how it’s done:
(And I’m curious to know what you actually did to get the unusual result you got. Please spare me the trouble of testing things to find out.)
@visitskc: Everything you’re asking in your posts is in the FAQs and the Support info pages – which you must learn to use. Volunteers are here to try help with problems, not parrot readily available information.
To insert an image uploaded elsewhere, you get its URL, click the “Add an Image” button, click “From URL”, paste the URL there, click “Link to Image” if you want the published image to link to the full-size original when clicked, click “Insert into Post”.

I had forgotten to lcik the “insert into post” button. Silly mistake. Thank you for that step by step, helped me retrace to my mistake.
Now i have to reread that post of yours and make the image link to the full size image in a new browser window.

I want to apologize, i won’t repeat such error. I am just using this forum. Anyway thanks a lot

@lifethroughacameralens: Glad you got it solved! Now you know that uploading in the blog and inserting in the post are two completely separate and independent things: you can do either one without doing the other.
As for your new question, sorry, you won’t find that in the post I linked to, because unfortunately we aren’t offered that option when we upload and/or insert an image. To have an (already inserted) image open in a new browser window, you click on it (in the visual editor), click on the edit button that shows up (the mountain icon), click “Advanced Settings”, scroll down to “Target” and select the option, click “Update”.
@visitskc: You’re welcome, and you’re welcome here – no need to apologize. I’m just explaining things since you are new. (And my style happens to be in the concice/abrupt/blunt region…) Point is, most of what a beginner may need can be found in the FAQs and the Support directions. We have to point this out, because some visitors confuse the forum with a telephone answering service!

Yeah, i fixed it and now get a full size image in a new browser window.
I have another question though, thought i’d post it here instead of creating a new thread. When i have no widgets activated i get the calender, pages, categories etc etc, but as soon as i add the Flickr widget for example, all those disappear and there is no way of accessing the pages (“about me” in this case). Why is that and how can i have the Flickr widget and pages visible at the same time?

lifethroughacameralens
Just add the widget again. The first group of widgets was pre-set, and when you added one, the theme became ready to add your own set of widgets. -
I’m sorry, i’m not quite following you here, add it again? I’ve tried re-adding it etc back and forth. Perhaps that’s not what you meant?

Most themes come with a small preset group of sidebar items. These aren’t actually the widgets you can add: they are artificially generated by the theme. Once you add any widget yourself, you signal that you take over, and the preset goes.
