Images from posts not displaying on home screen on Columnist Theme

  My Film Blog at http://www.notlefthandedfilmguide.co.uk uses the Columnist Theme and on the last three posts the image from the post is not showing up on the home screen. I hope you can help. Thank you

  Hi there!

  I just visited your site and it looks like all of the images are displayed correctly. You’re using the Fontfolio theme though, not the Columnist. It looks like you made this change a few days ago.

  Thank you for your reply.

  I changed to the Fontfolio theme as I could not get the images to show on Columnist. I tried out a few of the themes and several of them would not show my recent images while some would.

  I’ll try to recreate this issue in the Columnist, but if you come across this again let me know so we can troubleshoot it! That way if there’s something wrong with the theme I can let our team know and get it fixed. :)

  If it helps, I have discovered that the picture display fine if they are added as media via the dashboard on my PC but if I just add them to the post when I put it out on my iphone or ipad then they do not. It might be an issue with the app.

  Odd that this is not a problem in all of the themes.

  Hmm. I’m not entirely sure why sometimes the theme is able to grab the image and sometimes it isn’t. The best way to avoid this though, is to set a Featured Image in each of your posts.

  Let me know if that still doesn’t work for you!
