Images front page blurred

  Hi everyone,
   
  I am fairhy new to WordPress and I am running into an issue. I am using the Blogger Era theme on my website, Grid-lay-out. Despite the fact that all images have equal ratios (5:4), some are being displayed bigger than others, of which the weirdly cut ones are blurry. One of the images was uploaded earlier (when I used another theme, if I am correct, this was Blog Grid), the other I uploaded today. The problem only occurs at my front page. How can I make all images in the grid lay out at the front page equally sized (preferably ratitio 5:4)?

  Should I adapt my css? And if so, what should I do exactly?
