Images getting randomly swapped

  Has anyone else noticed their images in old posts sometimes become a different image entirely? I just checked an old post, for a turkey meatloaf recipe, and the image with the post was for shepherd’s pie! And I know I didn’t accidentally upload the wrong image, because I posted the meatloaf recipe months ago, and only posted the shepherd’s pie one (and uploaded the image) this week!

  Needless to say, now I’m worried that all my old photos got juggled around and now my old posts have irrelevant images. How on earth is this happening, and how can I keep it from happening again? It’s very weird and annoying.

  Are you absolutely sure there are no chance that the pictures had the same name?

  We need direct links to the posts in question to take a look. Otherwise we can’t even begin to guess what’s going on.

  I’ve heard of that happening on Supload.com and another site which I can’t think of now.

  Well, here’s just one example:

  That first image is supposed to be a photo of an ongoing needlework project. It was titled “acorn band sampler wip 4”, and the image that’s showing is titled “mooncakes bag” (and was uploaded weeks after the first one), so it’s not a case of using the same name for both images.

  The second imgage in the post is also all cacked up it’s supposed to be one titled “bus graffiti” and instead it’s one titled “mooncakes tin”.

  This is very annoying. I’ve had blogs on several different sites before and never had this problem.
