Images in a post just vanished

  Hi;

  I’m new to blogging and I recently made some of my first posts, one post here:

  http://korporalkernel.wordpress.com/category/f-language/

  Had some small images of a console window, these were just smallish JPEGs and were there until this morning.

  Is this due to something I’ve done or is there some good reason why they are no longer visible?

  Also I just noticed too – my background image has vanished as well !

  These were setup several days ago and have been absolutely fine until I looked this morning!!!

  I’m going to restore my background image – it seems to me that perhaps some image repository managed by WordPress has failed and images present there are inaccessible…

  Any info though is much appreciated – I’ll leave the f-language post (see my initial forum submission above) as is in case WordPress staff want to take a look…
