  Can I use an image, such as a picture of a book as an ad to sell the book, or can it only be a link to the book?? I’m looking to be an affiliate:)

  Hi there,

  We allow affiliate links to reputable sellers, but using affiliate links inside of images as you’ve suggested is not allowed. You can read more about the specifics of how we treat affiliate links here:

  A proper use of affiliate link in your case would be use the text “Buy this book on Amazon.com” or something similar, and include an affiliate link instead of a standard Amazon.com link. Using this type of link can be effective when it’s placed in the context of an excellent book review your create on your blog.

  An image of the book’s cover linked to an bookseller’s affiliate link would not be allowed under our terms of service.
