Images in blog posts
-
Hi. I am trying to add an image in a blog post but I cannot do that without the image showing up twice upon publication.
I do not want a featured image to be associated with the headline on the front page of my website where you can navigate to a particular blog post. But this is what happens when I add an image anywhere in my blog post.
I want to add a JPEG image of a graph to appear inside a blog post between two paragraphs. But when I insert the jpeg it also displays under the headline and sandwiches the first paragraph. Further, as I mentioned, it also displays the photo on the main page of the site when i don’t want that.
I am going crazy with this “we’ll do it for you” technology. I know what I want but it is giving me extra.
I just want a jpeg between two paragraphs. Is this possible?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
That’s odd! Yes, when you uploaded an image in the post (not on the Featured Images), it should be just one image. Like your post here:

Could you share with us the problem you have with a screenshot and upload it to your Media, then share the link here?

Hi, thanks for the response but I figured it out. There was a setting in the theme customization where if you check the box, the first image in the post is automatically used as the featured image.
So I unchecked the box and the world started making sense again.
And thank you kindly for the blog feed back!
Have a good day!
