images in media library

    I have postd these questions in the forum and I am not getting any help. I want to know what would happen if I hit my limit of 3 gigs in the media library. If I then continued to add images would the oldest one be disgarded (which would be fine because they are used in the oldest posts which are no longer being accessed), would I simply not be able to add images? I am not near my limit, but I need to knw what happens.

    Also, on my theme is an ‘img’ button. I have used that to put in images that I will only use once, from an internet site (with permission) and do not want or need in my media library. What I found is that they can disappear. Why is that, what can I do about it?

    Again, I have put these questions up on the forum and gotten no responses.

    when you reach your 3GB limit you will not be able to add more images or files to your Media Library – nothing will be deleted

    If you link to an image on the internet (another site) – if that site owner decides for any reason to delete the image from their site or move it to another location – the link will be broken and the image no longer shows on your site – you would need to have the image on your site or a file sharing service that you control to prevent things like this from happening
