images in my widgets missing

I have a number of images I uploaded and made clickable as text widgets. A few days ago they all disappeared and I cannot get them back. When I rewrite the code they will reappear sometimes for a few minutes before going away. The same thing happened to a bunch of the images in my blogs as well. Is there a bug in the system somewhere?
This is a sample of the code not working. The image is mine I created it from scratch, so we’re not talking about a copy protection issue. Also other images have been working for months and suddenly stopped on Thursday I think.

If you have deleted images from your media library, then that could cause the behavior you are describing. For images uploaded to a WordPress.com blog to work, they must be present in the media library in the blog.

I’m also having problems uploading. The photo is in the media library. The insertion box is in the post – but the photo never pops in. Last week I had 5 photos to post and 2 just would not upload (all 5 were in the media library) – even though I think I did the same thing for all of them. Sometimes it works – sometimes it doesn’t. Extremely frustrating!
