images in post show as thumbnails

  Recently the graphic images placed in the post are being presented as thumbnails instead of the full size image I created them as.
  Even old posts that have been there for years are doing the same thing.

  Hi there,

  I took a look at your blog, and the images are displaying normally for me there.

  It’s possible that a browser extension/add-on is causing this problem for you. Can you try opening your site in Firefox safe mode or in a different browser and see if the images still show up as thumbnails? If you need, you can download the latest versions of popular browsers here: http://browsehappy.com/

  If that doesn’t resolve the problem, can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing along with links to one or posts where this is happening? You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service such as Snaggy.

  Thanks for your time and interest, and yes I see it on another browser, sort of.
  I check how things are doing from a Kindle (Silk) and screen shots from that are not possible, as far as I know. I do have another laptop, I don’t usually browse on that (its in the kitchen) but I can try it.
  The default browser on the pc & laptop is Firefox and IE is available.

  The odd thing is when there are multiple images in a post, not all of them thumbnail. If I click on it the image opens to a normally sized picture. The back-arrow will sometimes show the original post with correctly sized images, sometimes it restores to the thumbnail.
  As a test, I’ve edited the images that thumbnailed by changing the orientation to center and checked “use original size”. Now I’m waiting to see if the same images display as thumbnails again.

  Though I first noticed the problem from the Kindle, I have seen it on the Dell Desktop that I use to write the blog.

  Hi John,

  It doesn’t look like any of the images are appearing as thumbnails to me, but let me know if they look smaller than they should and I can investigate that.

  The issue is most likely caused by something that is happening in your web browsers. Although you’ve seen the thumbnails pop up both on your Kindle and in IE on your desktop, I’d like to start by looking at your desktop for now.

  Can you start by clearing your browser’s cache and cookies?

  Then, can you try disabling any browser add-ons and looking at your site again? Here is a link to instructions for Internet Explorer:

  If the images still appear as thumbnails, can you provide a screenshot of the thumbnail images you are seeing? You can upload screenshots to your Media Library (under Media > Add New) or to a service like Snaggy.
