Images in Sela Theme

  Hello,
  I am trying to create images that are backgrounds in the pages of my Sela Themed website. In the prototype for the theme for instance there is an image of a desk set behind the ‘Home’ write up. How can I replace this image with my own and maintain the background effect of the image?

  Same question for my ‘About’ page.

  Hi Catherine,

  In order to replace the background image with your own, you’ll want to go to your customize page.

  After clicking Add new image, you’ll be able to upload and crop the image to your liking. However, keep in mind that your theme recommends a header size of 1180 × 160 pixels for the best results. The reason why your image is not filling the entire space is because your dimensions are probably not the same as what is recommended.

  To adjust the background on your “About” page, you can do so by visiting the edit page screen.

  At the bottom right, you’ll be able to set your featured image.
