Images in shortcode gallery : displays fine on browser Reader, shows only shortcode on Android App

  Hi

  My images in shortcode gallery, as my website is photography driven as this was the best way at the time to organise them. The images displays fine on browser Reader, but shows only shortcode on Android App version. Assuming there is no way to make the App show these shortcode images?

  Update: I only just got my blog up on wordpress app recently, using jetpack. I can see that posts made before I enabled the features to allow the blog to appear in Reader, do not show images (just the gallery shortcode). 2 posts made since my blog started appearing in Reader do indeed have photos.

  Is there a way to refresh/scrape again the old blog articles to load the photos into Reader instead if it just showing the gallery shortcode?

  Hi obsidianurbex,

  Seems like your issue is related to a site that is using the wordpress.org software, which is hosted outside wordpress.com

  This forum only supports the sites hosted on wordpress.com. Please post your question on the wordpress.org support forum: https://wordpress.org/support/

  Both( wordpress.com and wordpress.org) are different products. You can find out the differences between them here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Hi Obsidian,

  It looks like you are using the Final Tiles Gallery plugin. Your gallery isn’t displaying because we are unable to render third party shortcodes created using plugins, in the app.

  One option is to create a slideshow using the built-in WordPress galleries:

  Jetpack

  Can you create a screenshot of what you are seeing so I can confirm that this is the issue? Your screenshot can be uploaded to Snaggy or Cloudup. If possible, please include the shortcode and a screenshot of the Reader.
