Image/s in the Header to change automatically

  I have 3 images that I want to use for my header image, and I would like for them to change randomly and automatically- like a slide show. How do I do this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Do you mean that you want them to scroll through like a slideshow whilst someone is on the page, or do you mean, just change randomly as people go to different posts/pages? For the latter you should be able to just click on Random: Show a different image on each page, and then have your three images uploaded beneath it.

  If you want a slideshow in your header, I don’t believe it’s possible (could be wrong). You could make a gif of a slideshow showing the three images you wanted in your header, but it would make the page considerably slower to load, and you would need to ensure it’s the correct dimensions.

  It is possible to create a slideshow- for example, take a look at this website:

  Do you see how the pictures change after 30 seconds of being on the same page? And they are also using the same theme for wordpress as mine (which is twenty-one, or something like that.)

  I was just wondering if it’s possible to attached an automatic slideshow like that in the header.

  Well that site isn’t a WordPress.com site, so things work differently, and I am unaware of a way to do this on a WordPress.com site.

  That’s the Nivo Slider plugin. On wordpress.com we cannot use plugins.
  The closest you can do in create an animated GIF in the dimensions the theme requires. But GIFs can’t be high-quality images.

  But this website that I have posted above is wordpress- they have just changed the domain.
  Thanks for your help guys. @Justpi, so in english please haha, how do I create as you call it an animated GIF? It sounds rather complex.. or?
