Images in widgets

  I placed an image in my widget by putting in the link but after logging out and going back to my site it is a blank box with no image. Does anyone know why?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’ve re-copied the image into the widget and it turns up but as soon as I refresh it disappears again.

  The image is a bar chart that I update through my outlook account. On the image I select copy url and put that url into the box in the image widget.

  Is it because it is from an email account?

  Possibly. Images need to be hosted somewhere or uploaded to your Media library. They also need to be an image format like .jpg, .gif or .png

  If I want to put it in a widget though I need to link it to url as tried to do it from library and can’t.

  You upload the image from your computer to your blog via Media > Add New, copy the File URL, use that URL in the widget.

  Hi I’m now having problems using polldaddy on audiorushes.com

  The poll comes up but when you vote it does nothing until you click to view results and then click back to poll??

  Is there a way around this?

  http://audiorushes.com/ is not a WordPress.COM site, it is a WordPress.ORG site, and you’ll have to be over there for help with that. Our software works differently here.
