Images including banner have disappeared
-
On my site brandingforcities.info I wanted to remove 1) the text heading at the top “Branding for Cities A portal for city branding” and also “Blog at WordPress.com.” and the little smily face at the bottom. I used the code:
#footer p {
display:none;
}which I found here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/remove-a-blog-at-wordpresscom?replies=6
However before doing this I got the entire code of the stylesheet (from here: http://s1.wordpress.com/wp-content/themes/pub/mistylook/style.css?m=1261466161g&minify=false) copied all into the CSS stylesheet editor, then changed the footer as per above. However, now none of the template images are displaying, including the main banner (http://brandingforcities.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/brandingforcities.gif), the little orange feeds logos, and some others. I suspect it’s something to do with the folder ‘img/’ which was entered in there when I copied the entire original. Any ideas how to get the images back?
Many thanks

Once you have edited the CSS you can no longer use the custom header upload option. You must include the header image in the CSS stylesheet. This can be confirmed by using the forum searchbox.
There is not Taff support for learning CSS. There are only a couple of volunteers who infrequently assist other bloggers with CSS editing. Therefore you will have to wait until they find this thread.
