Images lose a lot of quality when uploaded to media files

    When I upload an image to my website it immediately loses sharpness and quality. All images are exported for web (for a smaller file size) and when I open the file on my computer it is still sharp. But as soon as I upload them and then check the media file url to see the image, they look significantly different, with much less quality.

    The mobile version displays an even lower quality image— extremely blurry.

    I’ve been in contact with the theme developers who told me the issue is with WordPress. How do I fix this issue?
