Images lost on CSS customization

  I just decided to customize the CSS on my blog however, I soon as I did this and previewed my blog, all images (icons, corners, background) had gone. I understand what happened, their path is no longer relevant. I need to copy them in my Media and change their path in me CSS file. But how am I suppose to get these images back if cannot get to them? I created another blog using the same theme to hopefully get to these images but they are all set as background images so I cannot get to them either by right clicking or copying their path over… Hoepfully I am making sense. Can someone help?
