Images Missing

  I have gone back to look at several blog posts I have done and the images I added to the posts are no longer showing. All that shows is an x in a square with the image number. I have been dealing with this for months and would really like to get it fixed because it make the posts look bad.

  Hi there,

  I was able to find a post on your site with missing images like you described:

  The URL for missing image was:

  

  This image would only be missing if it had been removed from your media library. It would be hard to confirm how they were removed it wasn’t manually on your end from here:

  https://wordpress.com/media/mistysbookspace.wordpress.com

  If you delete an image the media library, rather than from a post where the image is being used, it will result in the image still being requested by the posts in question but show a 404 icon like you’re seeing (the box with the red x in it) since the image no longer exists in your sites list of files.

  The most reliable solution to getting these images back up would be to reupload them to each post individually if you still have the files stored locally somewhere.
