Images missing from category pages

My post images show up wonderfully on the home page, but disappear on the category pages. Is there a way to get them to show on both?

On some themes, including 2010, category pages display excerpts instead of full posts. Auto excerpts show the beginning of the text only (no code at all, so no line or paragraph breaks, no italics etc, no links, no images). You can override this by creating custom excerpts in the Excerpt module of the post editor. If you’re not seeing the Excerpt module while editing a post, click Screen Options (top right) to activate it.
In the Excerpt module you can type or paste text as well as code – for instance copypaste an image code from the so-called Text editor. You can even copypaste the entire post from the Text editor into the Excerpt module, to display full posts on category pages. But
a) I don’t think it’s worth doing this for every post,
b) it won’t work for objects inserted via a shortcode (polls, videos etc).
So if you want full posts on category pages better switch to a different theme.
