Images need to be precise but are being scaled

    Hi,

    Some help with images that seem to be resizing please…

    I am using images with WordPress portfolios. These are being shown in a grid format with a heading beneath each image. They need to be the same size for the headings to be in alignment. And the images I upload are the same size. However the headings are nowhere near in perfect alignment, and on closer examination the image sizes seem to be being altered. When I inspect the image in firefox it says things like ”277px × 247px (scaled to 240px × 214px)”.

    Is it the browser doing this or WordPress.com? I don’t understand why either would be doing it, but I need to get the website showing the images as I uploaded them.

    Any help would be great.
