Images no longer expand

When i click on pics in recent posts they dont enlarge, any help in plain english would be most appreciated. Everything ive found online is very complicated and the menus cited dont come up in my wordpress edit page. This just started happenin, images in earlier posts still enlarge.

Hi there, I see some images that are linked to open the image in the browser window and then some that are not set to open. Can you point me to an example page and to the images you are wanting to open enlarged?

I dont believe Im loading them any differently than before but maybe Im wrong.

Those images are not linking anywhere. That’s why the full-size image won’t load when clicked.
Are you using the editor at My Sites or in WP-Admin to create your posts?
WP-Admin “remembers” your last-used setting for image links, and so should apply it automatically each time you add a new image. But the My Sites editor does not, and you have to manually link each image you insert every time there.
To fix this in the new editor, go to My Site ->Blog Posts and edit the post. Click on the first image to select it. Then click the Link icon in the editor toolbar. It should be auto-filled with the image URL, so just add it, and then do the same with the next image. When you’re done, update the post.
To fix this in WP-Admin, edit the post, click the image, and click the pencil icon in the little pop-up toolbar. In the image overlay that appears, look for the image attachment settings section, and select the Image URL option. Update the image, and update the post once you’ve fixed all the images.
Next time you create a new post in WP-Admin, also pay attention to that option when you insert an image, to make sure your preference is correctly reset.

Gracias amigos! Following it step by step, sometimes they link, somethimes they dont for some reason, so I just keep trying, got most of them linked now. On the other posts I always just loaded them as “add media” and didnt have to add a url link, but in any case, its working per your instructions, will do it this way for now on. Best wishes-T
